BAI DINH PAGODA - TRANG AN ECO-TOURISM AREA

Trang An is an ecological tourism area located within the Trang An World Heritage Complex in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam.  This site has been designated as an important national heritage site and recognized by UNESCO as a dual World Heritage Site since 2014. Trang An is often referred to as the "Southern Capital" of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, which is now known as the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

The detailed itinerary:

07:00-07:30: Pick you up at hotels located in the central area of Hanoi's Old Quarter and the Opera House. Then, the tourist bus will depart for Ninh Binh. During the journey, there will be a rest stop for guests to relax for approximately 20-30 minutes.

10:30: Arriving at Bai Dinh, the tour guide will take you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, a famous pagoda with numerous records: The entire Bai Dinh Pagoda complex covers an area of 107 hectares. The Tam The and Phap Chu Shrine within this area span thousands of square meters wide; In this pagoda, there are the largest bronze statue of the Gautama Buddha in Southeast Asia, weighing 100 tons, and three statues of Tam The, with each set weighing 50 tons.

12:30: Visitors will return to the restaurant for a rest and lunch.

14:00: The guide will take you to the Trang An Wharf, where you will board a boat to visit the Trang An Ecological Tourism Area. This place is known for its limestone formations, valleys, and intertwining rivers, creating a mystical and enchanting atmosphere. You will relax on the boat and explore four of the most beautiful natural caves in the Trang An ecotourism area: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, and Dai Cave. You will also stop to visit spiritual sites such as the Suoi Tien Temple and the Vu Lam Palace. This tour is perfect for young travelers and those who enjoy taking photos for check-ins. You can fully experience the boat journey to the caves and capture beautiful moments and pictures during the visit to Trang An.

16h30: Return to Ha Noi.

19h00: Arrive back in Hanoi. The tour ends. We look forward to seeing you again!

• Tipping for tour guide and driver: 

Tipping for driver and tour guide is not compulsory but can be given as a gesture of satisfaction. The minimum recommended tip is 50.000 VND/guest/day

Recommended tipping for foreign guests: 3 USD/guest/day

Children (please read carefully to understand the standards for children):

• Children aged 1-4 years old receive free services (Please note that free-of-charge children do not have a seat on the vehicle, and parents are responsible for all expenses related to the child). Only one free child is allowed per two adults, and from the second child onwards, they are charged at 50% of the tour price (which includes half meals and a separate seat on the vehicle). 

Note: If one adult accompanies one free child, the child must pay 50% of the adult tour price (The standard for children is 50% off, which includes half a meal and a separate seat in the tourist bus. Any additional costs for admission tickets at the sightseeing spots will be covered by the family).

• Children aged 5-9 years old are charged 75% of the tour price (they have their own meals, a seat on the vehicle). 
• Children aged 10 years old and above: They are considered as adults and will be charged accordingly.

Other general notes:

• When going on a tour, (especially those involving boats, trains, airplanes, or tours to border areas), guests must carry legal identification documents (ID card or Passport). Children under 14 years old must carry their birth certificates as a minimum requirement. Children aged 14 and above are required to have an ID card or passport.
• Guests should bring medication for stomach aches due to diarrhea and common fever-reducing medicine.
• Guests who choose not to have lunch will receive a deduction of 80,000 VND/meal.
• If you are a vegetarian, please bring additional vegetarian food to ensure enjoyment when it comes to meal time.
• If you do not use any services on the tour, they will not be refunded.
• The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of attractions to suit the specific conditions of each departure day, while ensuring all planned attractions are visited.

(*) Customer Responsibilities:

• Customers are responsible for their health conditions and chronic illnesses (such as cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes, and joint problems), congenital diseases, underlying conditions, HIV/AIDS, mental and neurological disorders, and pregnancy... are not covered by insurance. When necessary, customers must provide a written commitment regarding their health status when participating in the tour. The tour organizer is not responsible for cases where customers fail to disclose their illnesses, provide inaccurate information, or for conditions that fall outside the scope of travel insurance coverage during the tour. 
• Customers must personally safeguard their belongings in all situations and locations throughout the journey. The tour organizer is not responsible for any loss of money, valuable items, flight tickets, or personal belongings during the trip.
