Ha Noi - Ha Long bay - Sa Pa - Ha Noi 5-days 4-nights

Day 1: Hanoi City & Traditional Villages

Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and begin your full-day exploration of Hanoi and its surrounding traditional villages.

In the morning, visit some of Northern Vietnam’s long-established traditional craft villages, including Quang Phu Cau Incense Village and Chuong Conical Hat Village. Discover the traditional craftsmanship and learn about the local way of life that has been preserved through generations.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you can taste some of the city’s traditional specialties.

In the afternoon, continue exploring Hanoi with visits to some of its most important historical and cultural landmarks, including the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first national university and Hoa Lo Prison, a historic site that offers insight into Vietnam’s past.

Return to your hotel and enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Full-Day Cruise – Hanoi

Your driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Ha Long Bay.

Upon arrival at the harbor, your guide will assist you with check-in before boarding the cruise to explore Ha Long Bay – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its spectacular limestone karsts, emerald waters, fascinating caves, and unique geological formations.

Enjoy lunch on board while cruising through the magnificent scenery of Ha Long Bay, passing iconic limestone islands and islets such as Hon Cho Da (Stone Dog Islet) and Hon Ga Choi (Fighting Cock Islets).

Continue your journey with a visit to Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the most impressive caves in Ha Long Bay. Explore its spacious chambers filled with fascinating stalactites and stalagmites in various natural formations.

Next, you may choose to take a kayak or bamboo boat to explore Luon Cave, surrounded by spectacular limestone cliffs and peaceful scenery.

Continue to Ti Top Island, where you can relax on the beach or climb to the top of the island for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.

As the cruise returns to the harbor, enjoy the beautiful scenery and, depending on weather conditions, the opportunity to admire the sunset over Ha Long Bay.

Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor and transfer back to Hanoi, with a short rest stop of approximately 20 minutes along the way.

Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi around the evening.

Day 3: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village

After breakfast, your vehicle will pick you up at your hotel for the journey from Hanoi to Sapa, traveling through the scenic mountain landscapes of Northern Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Sapa, meet your local tour guide and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax.

In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village, one of the most famous ethnic villages near Sapa. Discover the traditional culture and daily life of the local ethnic communities, admire traditional costumes and handicrafts, and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and waterfalls surrounding the village.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

After dinner, you are free to explore Sapa town at your own pace, stroll through the streets, visit local shops, or simply enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere.

Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Fansipan – Sapa Town

After breakfast, begin your journey to Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina.”

Take the cable car up to Fansipan and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the surrounding valleys. Explore the spiritual complex and summit area before returning to Sapa.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Sapa town.

• Local shops and cafés

Alternatively, you may choose to visit some of Sapa’s popular attractions, such as Rong May Glass Bridge, Swing Sapa, or Moana Sapa. (Optional activities and entrance fees are not included unless specified in the tour package.)

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

After dinner, you are free to explore Sapa’s vibrant nightlife, try local barbecue specialties, enjoy a cup of coffee, or relax with a traditional massage.

Overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: Lao Chai – Ta Van Village – Sapa – Hanoi

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your final day in Sapa with a trekking excursion to Lao Chai – Ta Van Villages.

This beautiful valley is home to several ethnic minority communities, including the H’Mong, Dao, Giay and Tay people. Walk through the villages and terraced rice fields while discovering the traditional lifestyle, architecture, culture, and daily activities of the local communities.

During the rice-growing season, particularly from April to September, you may have the opportunity to admire the spectacular terraced rice fields, which transform the valley into a breathtaking natural landscape.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the village.

After lunch, transfer back to Sapa town and collect your luggage.

Your guide will accompany you to the bus station/transportation office for your return journey to Hanoi.

Depart Sapa in the afternoon and arrive in Hanoi at approximately 9:00 PM. You will be dropped off at your original hotel.
