The Hoi An Coconut Forest & Ancient Town tour was a delightful and well-balanced experience. The basket boat ride through Cam Thanh Coconut Forest was fun and gave great insight into local fishing life. Walking around Hoi An Ancient Town felt peaceful and full of history. The local dinner was tasty and well organized. Releasing lanterns on the Hoai River was a magical and unforgettable highlight.

The driver and guide were punctual and friendly. The highlight of the tour was the enchanting lantern boat ride on the river, which was truly memorable. The guide was informative, but at times we felt some stops were more focused on shopping, such as a brief visit to an embroidery factory followed by a longer stay in showrooms, including a tailor, which made us a bit uncomfortable. We had some free time to explore local shops and ended the day with dinner at a “recommended” restaurant.

We had a lovely evening with Truong Sa Tourist exploring Hoi An Old Town. It was fascinating to see the mix of architectural styles influenced by Japanese, Chinese, and French cultures. After the recent flooding, we were truly impressed by how well the local residents cope with the water and how quickly everything was cleaned up. The sampan lantern ride was a highlight of the evening, especially releasing the floating candles on the river. A truly memorable experience.

I had a trip to Hoi An with my lover and enjoyed many interesting experiences. We visited Bay Mau Coconut Forest and rowed basket boats in a peaceful, green environment. In the evening, we walked around the ancient town and released floating lanterns on the Hoai River, which was very romantic and memorable.
