YEN TU – DONG PAGODA

Duration: 1 day / Transport: shuttle bus / Departure: daily

Detailed program:

06:30: Car picks you up at Hanoi Opera House and departs for Yen Tu.

09h30: Arriving at Yen Tu, our tour guide will welcome the group and lead the group to start the journey to explore Yen Tu with:

• Patriarch Tower (where relics of Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong are kept).
• Hoa Yen Pagoda, One Roof Pagoda. You go to the cable car station to take the second cable system. 
• Admire the An Ky Sinh Statue, Buddha statue...
• Climb the top of Dong Pagoda (located 1068 m above sea level)
• Pay tribute to Buddha and enjoy the stunning view of Yen Tu from the mountaintop.

12:30-13:00: Lunch in the restaurant at the foot of the mountain, with dishes typical of the Yen Tu mountains and forests.

14:00: Get the bus back to Hanoi.

17:00: Return to the Hanoi Opera House. Tour ends. See you again!

• Two-way shuttle service between Hanoi and Yen Tu

Note: due to the specific nature of the tour, there will be no tour guide on the Hanoi - Yen Tu - Hanoi shuttle bus. There is no free drinking water aboard the bus.

During peak festival months (combined groups of ten or more people), there will be a tour guide along the way and free refreshments on the bus.

• Yen Tu tour guide picks up and serves the group at Yen Tu as schedule
• One major meal costs 150,000 VND/serving
• Tickets to picturesque sites in Yen Tu

Not included:

• 10% VAT bill
• Drinks in the car, drinks at meals, in the car and other personal costs
• Yen Tu tram ticket and 4-way round-trip cable car ticket (current price: 340,000 VND/pax).
• Travel insurance due to the nature of the daily combination trip
• Tips for drivers and tour guides

• Vietnamese tourists are not obligated to tip; however, it typically costs around 50,000 VND per person for a one-day trip.
• Foreign guests are expected to tip $3 per person for a one-day tour.

Children (need to read carefully to clearly understand children's standards):

• Children aged 1-4 years old receive free service (parents pay for any costs incurred and do not take up space in the car). Two adults can only accompany one child for free; the second child is paid 50% (normal half-meal and separate seat in the car).

Note: If one adult travels for free with one kid, the child must pay 50% of the adult's tour ticket (the 50% norm for children includes half a lunch and a separate seat in the car). Everything regarding the cost of sightseeing tickets to tourist destinations at the family's own expense).

• Children aged 5-9 pay 75% of the price for one meal and a separate seat in the car.
• Children aged 10 and up pay the same price as adults.
• Important: If a child of any age is taller than 120cm, they will be charged the same as adults for cable car and tram tickets.

Other general notes:

• Tours involving ships, trains, aircraft, or border areas require legal identification documents. (ID card/passport). Children under the age of 14 must present at least their birth certificate. Children aged 14 and over are needed to have an ID card or passport.
• Bring medication for stomach pains caused by diarrhea, as well as for common colds and fevers.
• Vegetarians should bring additional vegetarian food.
• Unused tour services will not be refunded.
• Tour guides reserve the right to re-arrange sightseeing spots based on departure date conditions, while ensuring all spots are included in the program.
