A Guide to Danang International Firework Festival: Tips for a Perfect Experience

Perfect location to see beautiful fireworks in Da Nang

High-rise hotels along both banks of the Han River

Do you like to eat great cuisine while watching fireworks, or lie down on a comfy mattress and watch the "light party" through the glass window? Then you can't miss the high-rise hotels and restaurants along the Han River's banks, such as the terrace of the Novotel Hotel, Muong Thanh Da Nang Hotel, Chicland Hotel,...

These positions will allow you to enjoy the entire fireworks display without being overly crowded. However, because it is a popular event, you should book your accommodation early to prevent running out of rooms or paying costly rates.

Han River sidewalk

Aside from the beams of light bursting high in the sky, the International Fireworks Festival has equally stunning low-level fireworks displays. To observe fireworks, head to the sidewalk areas near the Han River's banks. The expanded Bach Dang - Nhu Nguyet path now includes floral displays and a wide screen to experience the unique ambiance of watching the first fireworks launch into the sky.

Bridges spanning the Han River

Bridges across the Han River, such as the Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge, and Tran Thi Ly Bridge, will be great for seeing fireworks. Not only is it easier to fully enjoy the fireworks show, but these locations also provide a calm, airy atmosphere and a panoramic view of Da Thanh.

If you wish to watch from the river sidewalk or the bridge, please arrive 30 minutes before the show's start time to avoid overcrowding or not having a good space to stand.

Cruise on the Han River

Instead of sitting in one place watching fireworks, you can experience the "light party" combined with a complete view of the Han River and colorful bridges, without limiting your vision by taking a cruise on the Han River. Besides, you can also enjoy dinner with friends while watching fireworks.

At the fireworks festival, cruise tickets usually cost about 400,000 - 600,000 VND/trip. But Han River cruise tickets are highly sought after and are often sold out. So, book your cruise tickets in advance to get a good spot to watch the fireworks!

Some notes when going to see Danang International Fireworks

This is an international festival and has the largest scale in Southeast Asia, so it attracts millions of visitors to Da Nang on this occasion. Therefore, you should book tickets early to avoid running out of tickets. Schedule time to travel to an early viewing location to find a good viewing location.

Limit the carrying of jewelry or valuables to avoid theft.

If you choose to watch fireworks at Tran Hung Dao street, you can park your car at some city parking lots or people's parking lots at Nguyen Trung Truc, Truong Han Sieu, Luu Huu Phuoc streets... or a little further at Pham Van Dong Street, Ngo Quyen.

Some routes will be temporarily closed to traffic for the preparation and when the festival takes place. Some roads stopped traffic such as Bach Dang, Tran Phu streets, branch roads between Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets...

Check the weather forecast in advance around the time of the festival and bring a raincoat to avoid weather changes.

The good news is that we are now supporting the purchase of tickets to see the fireworks on the boat, so please contact us as soon as possible to get preferred policies and the best seat location!
