Breathtaking Beaches in Vietnam: A Favorite Destination for Korean tourists

When it comes to picturesque beaches, Vietnam has captured the hearts of Korean tourists. According to Agoda, a well-known online travel platform with 4 million hotels and resort facilities among many other products, Vietnam's coastal destinations have become a top choice for travelers from the Republic of Korea (RoK) as of April 2, 2024. Among the remarkable destinations, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc stand out as the favorites, offering stunning beaches, luxurious resorts, and a variety of exciting tourism activities.

Vu Ngoc Lam, Agoda's country director for Vietnam, emphasized that Vietnamese beaches have been attracting international tourists due to their alignment with global tourism trends. From the enchanting ancient city of Hoi An to the tropical paradise of Phu Quoc and the vibrant metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam offers an array of experiences for visitors to indulge in.

According to statistics from the General Statistics Office, the RoK remains the leading source of foreign visitors to Vietnam, with over 1.2 million arrivals in the first three months of this year. This marks a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2019, which was before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
