Itinerary

HOA LU - TAM COC - HANG MUA - BAI DINH - TRANG AN 

Duration: 2 days 1 night / Transportation: car / Departure: daily

DAY 1: HANOI - HOA LU - TAM COC - HANG MUA (Lunch/Dinner)

7:00 - 7:30: The car and tour guide will pick you up from hotels in the old center and the Hanoi Opera House before departing for Ninh Binh. 

10:30: Arriving in Ninh Binh, you will see the historic capital of Hoa Lu (Vietnam's capital in the 10th century) as well as the temples of King Dinh and King Le. Visit the excavation area near to the Le Dai Hanh temple and go sightseeing in the picturesque Truong Yen valley to enjoy wonderful landscapes. 

11:30: Coming to Hang Mua, you walk through winding paths covered with green trees and beautiful rockery architecture, and then journey to conquer the top of Hang Mua mountain with 500 stone steps. Arriving at the top of Mua Mountain, you will see all the heaven and earth of the vast land of Hoa Lu with a peaceful yet splendid appearance, like a watercolor painting that makes many people unable to hold back their emotions. On the way back,  you'll pass by the Lotus Pond, which is located between limestone mountains, creating an exceptionally romantic and old sight. You can hire historical outfits for photography here.

12:30: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

14:00: The tour guide will take you on a boat to see the caves. Go through three caves: Ca Cave, Hai Cave, and Ba Cave. Visit the Thai Vi temple, where Saint Tran (Tran Hung Dao) is worshiped. After around 2 hours, you will return to the Tam Coc wharf.

17:00: The car will take you back to the hotel to check in and rest.

18:30: Have dinner. Free evening. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

DAY 2: NINH BINH - BAI DINH - TRANG AN - HA NOI (Breakfast / Lunch)

Morning: We have breakfast and rest.

10:00: Check - out of the hotel. Then the car will pick you up from your accommodation and transport you to Bai Dinh Pagoda, a famous pagoda with several records such as: Bai Dinh Pagoda's campus spans 107 hectares, of which, the Tam The and Dharma Temples are located. The owner is thousands of square meters wide. At this pagoda, there is the largest bronze Buddha Tathagata statue in Southeast Asia (weighing 100 tons) and three statues of Tam The, each weighing 50 tons. 

12:30: You return to the restaurant to rest and have lunch.

13:30: The car will take you to Trang An wharf. Take a boat to the Trang An Thai Ecotourism Area, where limestone strips, valleys, and rivers merge to form a stunning and enigmatic landscape.  Sit on a boat to visit caves with very unique stalactite shapes, such as the Dark Cave, Bright Cave, Wine Making Cave, Sinh Cave, Si Cave, Three Drops Cave, Geo Spirit Cave and so on.

17:30:  You focus on getting on the bus to return to Hanoi.

20:00: Return to Hanoi. Ending the tour. Goodbye and see you again!

Includes:

• 01 night at Ngoc Linh Homestay, Inter Hotel, or similar, sleeping 02 guests/room (odd sleeping 3).
• 3 main meals according to program standards.
• 01 standard breakfast at the hotel.
• Sightseeing tickets and boat tours at Trang An and Tam Coc.
• The tour guide serves enthusiastically and thoughtfully according to the schedule.
• Drinking water served on the bus: 1 bottle of 500 ml per person per day.

Exclusions:

• VAT at 10%.
• Tram tickets both ways in Bai Dinh (60,000 VND/2 tram trips).
• Drinks during meals, in rooms, and other personal expenses.
• The cost of sleeping in a single room when traveling alone.
• Sightseeing expenses outside the program and other personal expenses.
• Tips for drivers and tour guides:

If guests are satisfied with the service, they can tip accordingly.  The tip amount is largely up to the guest, however it usually starts at 50,000 VND/guest/day.

Standard tipping for foreign guests: 3 USD/guest/day.

Price Policy for Children:

• From 1-4 years old, free (parents pay all related costs).
• From 5 to 9 years old, they are charged 75% of the tour price (full meals, sharing a bed with parents).
• From 10 years old and up, they are considered adults. 

Other general notes:

• Due to the specific nature of group tours, you can only buy travel insurance when all of the following conditions are met:  
• Book the tour at least 2 days before the departure date (excluding holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays). 
• You must send complete and accurate information about your full name and date of birth when booking a tour. 
• The minimum group size is 10 guests or more. 
• Be a person of Vietnamese nationality.  
• Tourists (especially on tours involving ships, trains, airplanes, or tours to border areas) must bring legal identification documents (ID card, passport).  Children under 14 years old must at least bring a birth certificate. Children 14 years of age and older are required to have an ID card or passport.
• You should bring medicine for stomachaches due to diarrhea and common colds and fevers.
• Guests who do not eat lunch will only be deducted 80,000 VND per serving.
• If you are a vegetarian, please bring additional vegetarian food to ensure your taste.
• Any services on the tour that you do not use will not be refunded.
• The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing spots to suit the conditions of each specific departure date while still ensuring all sightseeing spots are included in the program.
