DAY 1: HA LONG - HALONG BAY                                                                                                                                            (- / L / D)

08:15-09:00: Driver and tour guide pick up tourists from the hotel in the Old Quartet Center Area and the Opera house to begin departing for a trip to visit Ha Long Bay.

11:30-12:00: Arriving at the Ha Long port, the tour group gathered at the waiting house under the instruction of the tour guide to wait and buy the tickets as well as distributing them to tourists to board the cruise ship and begin the journey to explore the Bay. The ship will go through many islands with different shapes and sizes, including Chicken Fighting Island – the symbol of Ha Long …Tourists can enjoy lunch on the boat.

14:00: Arriving at Bo Hon Island. Tourists can explore Sung Sot cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. Next, tourists can go kayaking or ride a bamboo boat to visit Luon Cave (the cost for kayaking or riding on a bamboo boat is not included). After 30 minutes of Kayaking, tourists board the boat to arrive at Tiptop Island. Here tourists can swim at Tiptop beach where there are white sand beaches, or try going on a trek to top of the Tiptop Mountain for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.

16:30: Tourists return to the ship. The ship will move tourists back to the port. Meanwhile, on the ship, tourists can go sunbathing on the ship deck, listen to music and relax, immersing themselves in the surrounding nature of Ha Long Bay.

17:30: When the ship is docked. A car will bring tourists back to the hotel to receive their rooms and have a rest.

19:00: Have dinner. At night, tourists are free to explore the Night Market, Food Street… Stay overnight at Ha Long.

DAY 2: HA LONG PARK - HA LONG CITY - HA NOI                                                                                                               (B / L / -)

Morning: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Suggested sightseeing seeing locations for the morning in Ha Long:

  • Freely walk and swim at Bai Chay Beach or rent a taxi to explore the 7 – color street, which is considered like a miniature Italy right in the heart of Ha Long.
  • Register for a tour to Yen Tu – Bronze pagoda. Explore one of Vietnam’s largest Buddhist centers (please contact to book a minimal service from the afternoon of the previous day to receive a price range). In the case of a tourist going to Yen Tu, then that tourist will check-out of the hotel right after breakfast to depart for Yen Tu. After finishing the tour in Yen Tu, tourists will have lunch at a restaurant then the tour guide will bring tourists to catch a ride going back to Ha Noi.

11:00: Tourists return to their hotel rooms, have lunch and take a break.

Afternoon: Tourists choose one of the two options:

1.       Freely play at the amusement parks of the Ha Long Park complex with many attractive entertainment areas (the tickets for the parks are self-sufficient).

  • Queen cable car and giant Sunwheel on the mysterious hill
  • The Dragon Park with many adventurous games such as rollercoaster, Ferris wheel,…
  • The Typhoon water park with many exciting water-related games

2.         From about 13h00 – 13h30, a car will pick up tourists to tour Hon Gai city (Minimum requirements are 4 guests):

  • Sit in the car to admire the Bai Chay bridge. This is a single – plane cable – stayed bridge, prestressed reinforced concrete box girder. The two bridges are placed on extremely large compressed steam caisson foundations, applied for the first time in Vietnam with modern and advanced construction technology. The bridge is constructed by using balanced cantilever technology, at the main bridge pier at the height at 50m, the bridge girder extends out to the sea and ends when connecting to the two cantilever wings. This construction technology ensures that ships can operate normally during the construction process.
  • Visit Quang Ninh Museum. Quang Ninh Museum takes inspiration from the imagery of coal – a typical mineral for Quang Ninh and is designed by a Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo. Quang Ninh Museum – Library is considered a perfect cultural construction and is a sustainable highlight for a famous scenic area “Ha Long Bay”. This is also a massive architecture cluster with the largest investment value (Over 900 billion Dong) and is the first official museum constructed in Quang Ninh province.
  • Take pictures (outside) at the Dolphin palace, which is the affectionate name of the palace of planning, fairs and culture of Quang Ninh province. The Dolphin palace was honored to be in the list of top 10 construction projects and buildings in the world honored at the International Architecture Awards in 2019 (Chicago). The palace is considered an outstanding project, with massive architecture, unique design, revered by experts as a beautiful, unique, harmonious project with the space on the banks of Ha Long Bay – one of the Wonder of the world, “The Dolphin palace” is a promising unique destination, attracting both national and international tourists to come to Ha Long.
  • Sit in the car and admire the beautiful coastline of Tran Quoc Nghia on the shore of Heritage Bay.
  • Visit the temple of Monsignor Tran Quoc Nghien. Hung Vu Tran Quoc Nghien, the eldest son of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, grandson of king Tran Thai Tong. In the year 1282, he married princess Thien Thuy, becoming the son-in-law of king Tran Thanh Tong. He was a brilliant general, perfect in literature and martial arts, a filial son and loyal servant; the temple is located on the shore of Ha Long Bay.
  • End the program of Ha Long City by sitting, drinking coffee and relaxing at the Wind coffee shop with a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay and watching the ships pass by.

Please note: The Ha Long city program is an open program so it will only include the transportation to go sightseeing and will not include costs such as tickets for sightseeing locations, personal expenses and the tour guide may not accompany the group.

17:00: Aboard the car to go back to the most beautiful highway in Vietnam to return to Ha Noi.

20:30-21:00: Arrive at Ha Noi, tourists check in. Tourists can have dinner on their own while exploring the Old Quarter cuisine. At night, tourists can freely walk around to explore the Old Town at night. Stay overnight at Ha Noi. 

DAY 3: HA NOI - SAPA - CAT CAT                                                                                                                                           (B / L / D)

06:30: Pick up at 160 Tran Quang Khai (hotels staying about 250-300m) depart for Sapa in the direction of Ha Noi - Lao Cai highway.

13:00-13:30: To Sapa, visitors check-in at a hotel, have lunch and rest at the hotel.

Afternoon: The guide picks you up to visit Cat Cat village to learn about the daily life of H'Mong ethnic people, visit Tien Sa waterfall. Enjoy the traditional performances at the old hydroelectric plant.

18:00: Have dinner. After that, you might take photos with the Sapa Stone Church, explore the Sapa Love Market on Saturday nights, and enjoy delicious grilled specialties and famous San Lung wine to warm up in Sapa's cold weather. Stay overnight in Sapa.

DAY 4: SAPA - FANSIPAN CABLE CAR - HA NOI                                                                                                                  (B / L / - )

07:00: Have breakfast at the hotel and rest. Sip hot coffee in the morning at the restaurant.

08:00: Take you to Fansipan cable car station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the most modern 3-wire cable car system in the world with a capacity of up to 30 tourists/cabin.

From the Fansipan terminal, passing through the Enlightenment Path of Thanh Van, you will reach the realm of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery is located at an altitude of over 2.000m, welcoming visitors and Buddhist followers from all places with its pure Vietnamese architectural style, amidst the misty landscape. As you step through the echoing chimes amidst the swirling clouds and mountain winds, reaching an altitude of 3.000m, your gaze captures the magnificent sight of the 21.5m-high bronze statue of the Great Amitabha Buddha. It stands solemnly and majestic amid the enchanting floating mist, casting its compassionate gaze down to the world. In that moment of profound silence and sacredness, with folded hands, you offer prayers amidst the warm arrival of the spring season, amidst the budding branches of azaleas, blackberry, and cherry... all amid their vibrant growth and blossoming. Deeping within your heart, you will witness the blooming petals of love and hope. From the Great Buddha statue, the Alahat Path - where 18 bronze Alahat statues are 2.5m tall and reside amidst the drifting clouds - will lead you to the Kim Son Bao Thang Tu pagoda complex. There, you can admire the ancient beauty of Vietnamese wooden pagodas dating back to the 15th-16th century. You can also pray to the statue of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and the Mountain God Shrine. The harmonious atmosphere is about centuries-old azaleas in the chilling cold, preparing to bloom with white, yellow, red, and pink hues in March and April.

After overcoming 600 steps of green stone, you have reached the summit of Fansipan at an altitude of 3,143 meters, the rooftop of Indochina. From here, casting your gaze in all directions, you will have your own unique emotions and wishes.

11:30: Return to Sapa town, check out from the hotel, and have lunch before resting.

13:15: The guide will accompany you to the vehicle for the check-in process to return to Ha Noi.

19:00: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. The guide will take you to the airport lounge (if pre-registered).

20:00: Arrive in Ha Noi. The tour itinerary ends. We look forward to seeing you again!

  • Round-trip Fansipan cable car ticket. Guests can either pre-book the ticket before the tour or pay directly to the guide in Sapa at the actual retail price without any additional charges. If guests or partners purchase the ticket themselves, the tour price will be increased by an additional 50.000 VND/guest, or guests can visit Fansipan on their own
  • Muong Hoa electric train ticket and mountain train ticket. These are additional tickets that guests can purchase for a unique experience, and this does not affect the tour itinerary
  • Extra expenses for additional attractions and other personal expenses
  • Tipping for tour guide and driver:
  • Tipping for driver and tour guide is not compulsory but can be given as a gesture of satisfaction. The minimum recommended tip is 50.000 VND/guest/day
  • Recommended tipping for foreign guests: 3 USD/guest/day

Children:

  • Children aged 1-4 years old: Free of charge (parents are responsible for all expenses for the child and the child does not occupy a seat on the vehicle). Only one child is allowed to accompany two adults for free. From the second child onwards, 75% of the tour price will be charged (following the same standards as children)
  • Children aged 5-9 years old: 75% of the tour price will be charged (they will have a separate meal and a separate seat on the vehicle, but they have to share the bed with parents). Even if there are two children, there is no provision for a separate bed
  • Children aged 10 years old and above: They are considered as adults and will be charged accordingly

Customers notice:

  • Tourists must bring: legal identification documents (ID card or Passport)
  • If you are a vegetarian, please bring additional vegetarian food to ensure the enjoyment when it comes to meal time
  • If you do not use any services on the tour, they will not be refunded
  • Tour guides have the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing spots to suit the conditions of each specific departure date but still ensure all sightseeing spots in the program
  • In case there are 6 or fewer passengers on the departure date, the driver can also act as a tour guide. These are drivers with a lot of experience and understanding of local culture
  • Absolutely do not bring bulky or oversized luggage. You should bring a backpack instead of a hard suitcase
  • In case guests travel alone and we cannot arrange a sleeping partner, they are required to pay a separate sleeping fee equal to 50% of the room/night price throughout the tour program

Personal belongings visitors should bring:

  • Insect repellant when visiting wooded and humid areas
  • Common cold and fever medicine
  • Walking shoes for comfortable sightseeing
  • You should bring light, airy clothes when going on tours from April to November
